Designer's note
Manas was born from a deep understanding of the importance of mental wellness and the role design can play in supporting it. The project challenged me to think beyond aesthetics and dive into the heart of user needs, emotions, and behaviors. Crafting a digital space that feels safe, intuitive, and empowering was both a responsibility and an opportunity to push the boundaries of user-centric design.
This project allowed me to explore how thoughtful design can bridge the gap between technology and empathy, creating tools that not only assist but truly resonate with users. It’s a reminder that design isn’t just about solving problems—it’s about making a difference in people’s lives.

Design Interventions
The UX interventions for Manas were guided by user research, empathy mapping, and a focus on creating a seamless and supportive journey. The onboarding process was redesigned to feel welcoming and intuitive, simplifying the steps to get started while emphasizing the app's purpose and value.
To enhance usability, the navigation was restructured into clear, logical pathways, ensuring users could easily access features like mood tracking, guided exercises, and personalized content. Interactive elements were added strategically to encourage engagement while maintaining a sense of calm and control.
Personalization played a key role in the UX design. Based on user personas and emotional states, the app offers tailored recommendations and content that adapts to users’ evolving needs. Visual and verbal cues were integrated to make the experience more human, fostering a sense of connection and trust.
By combining clarity, empathy, and functionality, the UX interventions in Manas transformed the app into a space that supports mental wellness with thoughtful and user-centered design.

The logo
The lotus is chosen as the app logo because it symbolizes growth, resilience, and purity. Emerging from muddy waters, it represents personal transformation and the ability to overcome challenges—ideal for an app focused on self-care, mental wellness, or personal development. Its spiritual significance, connection to nature, and calming aesthetic make it a powerful and universally recognized symbol of enlightenment, strength, and the journey toward a better self.
